Password reliability is much dependent on its length, usage of capitals and small letters and alphanumeric and special characters it includes.
Password Generation Rules
1. Good password cannot be remembered by an average person if he sees it for 30 seconds. This means the password must be at least 7+-2 characters long (human perception depth).
2. Good password must contain alphabetical (A-Z, a-z) and numeric (0-9) characters.
3. Good password must not be associated with language terms and patterns (i.e. indepedenceday is worse than IndEpenDEncEdaY which in turn is worse than 36b5dvQLbvWUpX).
To experiment with your own perception try the following:
1) look at IndEpenDEncEdaY password for 15-30 seconds, then turn around, take a sheet of paper and try to write it down exactly as you saw it
2) try the same with 36b5dvQLbvWUpX...
How many mistakes did you do in each case?
Moreover, it will take several more years to try to pick password such as 36b5dvQLbvWUpX using brute force check.
