PassMonster: Changing Master Password

Once you have loaded your data file successfully, you can change the master password used for data encryption. Select Service->Change Master Password from the main menu. A window will appear:

     Step 1: Type in your current master password (leave the field blank if you are setting a password for previously un-encrypted file)
     Step 2: Type in the new master password (leave the field blank if you are removing password protection from previously encrypted data file)
     Step 3: Type in the confirmation master password exactly the same as in previous step (leave the field blank if you are removing password protection from previously encrypted data file)

Once you change the master password, you will be prompted to enter it again when PassMonster re-opens your data file encrypted with new key.

Security note: make sure nobody knows your master password or sees your keyboard while you are typing it. Remember, human factor is the weakest link in any security chain!
